If you knew there was a safer alternative you would almost always choose it.

This is why it is so important to me that we let parents know about our enzyme alternative for head lice removal.

As the Cancer Awareness Coaltion states:

No one can assure your safety when using pesticides. Most pesticides are associated with some risk to human health or the environment.

So why do we take the risk? Short answer – because we are not aware of the alternatives, because misinformation tells us there are no alternatives, because many pharmacies don’t stock safer alternatives.
